Oops, we had a little disaster!

Hey, Islanders! 💙

First of all, we’re sorry. We know the game was unavailable for several hours, and we understand how frustrating it is when you can’t get back to your island, especially when you just want to relax and enjoy the game.

We had a server issue that took the game offline. Here’s something you might not know: if the game stops working while our technical team is asleep, an alert goes out to the team, waking them up so they can check what’s wrong and start fixing it as soon as possible. And that’s exactly what happened this Sunday night, right before the new work week. Our developers got straight to work, and we’re incredibly grateful to them for jumping into action when it mattered most. ❤️

Even though our technical team is probably running on coffee and very little sleep right now, they’re still keeping a close eye on the situation to make sure everything stays stable. ☕
